available since 2005. Aetna has 26 different plans for individuals,
families and children.
You can purchase Aetna heatlh insurance with or without dental
coverage. Their dental plan is value priced offering routine cleanings
and exams twice yearly at no charge. Other basic services are covered
at 100% after satisfying a $25 annual deductible. Major dental services
are discounted throught Aetna's DHMO network.
Aetna health insurance in Georgia includes several copay plans and two HSA
qualified plans.
The copay plans include an emergency room copay. All plans (including
the HSA) cover annual exams for a nominal copay and there is no charge
for routine mammography or pap smear. Major medical deductibles range
from $0 to $10,000. Rx deductibles apply before you can access the Rx
copay.
The HSA plans are issued on a split deductible basis with one
deductible per person and a family deductible.
Some plans from Aetna do not cover brand name prescription drugs or
outpatient benefits.
MATERNITY
Aetna does not offer maternity coverage, but like all health insurance
companies in Georgia, complications associated with pregnancy are
covered as any illness.

Underwriting can be brutal and often requires a lot of patience. We

surcharge the standard premium rates to account for the risk.
